6 months!!

I can't believe Tegan is already six month wow time flies!! This is my favorite age so far, you can start to see his personality and they laugh and interact, it's my favorite! He is usually a really good baby sometimes we have screaming fits when he gets overly tired and fights sleeping , but other than that he likes to be held and then he is fine. I am hoping he will like to play by himself soon, because for now if he is not being held or I am in the room he cries...

Troy and my family took me to the cheesecake factory for my birthday that is the best restaurant the food there is delicious! Tegan is sporting his belly in that picture he is so chunky!!

Things to remember at 6 months:
1. He sits up by himself
2. He rolls over, but usually gets stuck on his tummy..
3. Loves most fruits and likes sweet patatoes but thats the only veggie so far!
4. He stares at everyone when they are eating with these puppy dog eyes like please give me a bite!
5. He says dadada sometimes but no mama yet (not fair)
6. He could care less who holds him sometimes I don't think he even knows I'm his mom because he is so relaxed with whoever.
7. No theeth yet
8. Smiles so much and melts my heart when he does, he has the biggest smile
9. Still does not sleep through the night but is doing better
10. Makes my life better and better everyday!!

My sister took these pictures of Tegan at 5 months! He is at a fun age and these pics capture him so well! He was so good and sure is stinking cute!!

4th of July/ 5 months old

This year for the fourth Troy's brother from St.George came to visit us! We had so much fun and it was all of our first time wearing a sweater watching fireworks. Usually we are in St.George where you can hardly even go outside it is so hot.. We watched the fireworks up on a mountain on this really nice golf course and we all agreed they were the best fireworks we had ever seen!

Also my baby is 5 months old today I can't believe how fast time has gone he gets more fun every day, even though he is screaming at me right now not wanting me to be blogging! Here are a few things he does now for my record:
1. Rolls from belly to back and back to belly (sometimes he hates his tummy so he avoids rolling over but he can do it.)

2. Is starting to sit up he will sit for a minute or two by himself it is so cute!

3. Laughs more now lots of giggles I have only heard one really hard belly laugh once on the 4th of July!

4. Loves his rice cereal now or should I say banana flavored otmeal cereal that is his favorite he has a giant bowl every night.

5. Sleeps in his crib usually until around 3 or 4 5 if I am lucky than cries for a bottle (any advice on how to fix this situation?? I want him to sleep through the night...

6. He is the happiest baby and smiles at everyone he is going to be a flirt I know it. He picks the cute girls out and won't stop smiling at them! His smile melts my heart!

7. He is the best thing to ever happen to Troy and I we love you so much Tegan!!

We also went to Park City over the weekend with Rhett and Nichole and Ever we went shopping and rode the alpine slide. I was wearing flip flops and you have to take a ski lift to the top and my husband who is still a child at heart thought it was funny to joke around, and pretend to kick my flip flops off... Well funny joke when it does fly off and I have to walk around bare foot the rest of the time and the slide and the long walk back to the car. Oh well I bought two new pairs to pay him back for it!!

Rice Cereal and random pictures!

Tegan was not so sure about the rice cereal these pictures look like he liked it, but that was between bites he not digging it and still doesn't.

My baby is growing up and holding his own bottle .. Well not all the time yet I still hold it this was just a fluke that lasted about 2 minutes but it was sure cute!

We went to St.george for fathers day and that is the best dad in the whole world taking his little boy swimming.. The pool was freezing but Tegan did not mind he just loves to hangout with daddy!

We also got to see Tegans girlfriend Kendall! She is so cute they are starting to interact with eachother and it's so fun they are destined to be together someday I think...

Nothing else exciting here just loving being a mommy and watching him grow and learn he is such a good baby and has slept 8 hours like 5 times in the last week so that is a huge milestone for us! Oh ya and he is in his crib now, it is so nice to have our bed back but I do miss him cuddling with me sometimes!

Tegan Jack 4 months old!!

Wow 4 months I can't believe how fast time goes by these days. Tegan had his four month check up friday, and he did so good. He got the shots was screaming then I stuck some food in his mouth and we were good to go. He is such a good baby!

We did have a scare about a week ago, Tegan had a fever of 101 for a day so I called the doc and they told me to bring him in since the tylenol was not working. Troy and I took him there thinking no big deal just a little fever and he had been super honory. Well they decided to draw his blood and give him a shot of antibiotics because he was so young with a high fever. We waited to the blood results and his white blood count was way high so thats why they gave him the shot of medicine hoping that would kill whatever infection he had. They sent us home and wanted to see us back the next day which was saturday, Troy had to work so I went alone. He still had the fever so they drew his blood again which is so hard to watch, did a chest x-ray and gave him another antibiotic shot. I felt so bad for the poor little guy he had been through so much. They said his lungs looked a little bad and that they would call me with the blood test results. So I was sent home with another medicine to give him and just waiting for a phone call. Well I gave him the medicine that night also Troy had left for a bachelore party so I was with my mom and sister. Ten minutes later Tegan puked up I am pretty sure everything I had fed him for the past 2 days and the medicine it was so bad I have the hardest hime with puke, but I dealt with it for my son... So I get a phone call at 11:45 at night it's the doc and they tell me they found a bacteria in his blood and I needed to take him to primary childrens first thing in the morning. Talk about freakin me out I did not sleep all night worried sick about Tegan. I called Troy he came home early from wendover and we went to the hospital sunday morning. Well to make a long story short after another chest x-ray, another blood draw, an IV in his little hand and a tube down his nose to suction him out they find out the bacteria was a non staff infection from his skin or the nurses and it had accidently got in the blood sample and he really didn't have any bacteria in his blood... Poor guy all that for nothing they said it was a cold after that, better safe than sorry I guess right???

Anyway he is back to his happy self now and getting huge:

1. Loves his fingers and toes thanks to his aunt who introduced his toes to him!!
2. I think he has a tooth real close to coming out he chews on everything!
3. Still is a terrible sleeper at night waked up about every 4 hours
4. Has rolled over lots of times
5. Yesterday he sat up by him self for about 1 minute
6. Makes the cutest baby noises with the most manly voice
7. Falls asleep in the car all the time
8. Hates tummy time, he cries as soon as I put him on his tummy
9. Has giggled about 5 times and it makes me cry it's the cutest thing ever!!
10. Has made the last 4 months of my life the best ones yet Troy and I love him so much and just don't know what we ever did without him!!
